Pre-requisite Level 1 (200 hrs):
To be accepted onto the Yoga Arts level 1 training, participants will need to have completed a minimum of 2 years consistent, dedicated yoga practice under the guidance of a qualified yoga teacher (s). Participants will also be required to provide Yoga Arts with 1 reference from the yoga teacher they have consistently studied with.

Yoga Arts 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Sri Lanka

Venue & Surrounds:
The ocean at Wijaya Beach, which is a 20 minute walk away (5 min by Tuk Tuk), is clean and pristine and the surroundings around Sri Yoga Shala are quiet and tropical and ideally suited for an intensive Yoga training environment. Sri Yoga Shala has been purpose built for holding Yoga Trainings & Retreats.

Dalawella Beach

Dalawella Beach Yoga Arts Sri Lanka 200 hour Yoga Training

Dalawella Beach has a natural reef pool, cabanas to rent, a reef break for advanced surfers and a restaurant close by.

Vibrant tropical fruit, crisp seasonal fresh vegetables, local produce, traditional Sri Lankan delicacies and international vegan & vegetarian favorites are featured at the onsite cafe. Around 2 km away by rickshaw (Tuk Tuk) you will find Wijaya Beach Restaurant on the beach offering pizza, Thai curries, salads & seafood. A bit further away, 5 – 10 minutes, is Unawatuna which has numerous beach restaurants. 15 – 20 minutes away is Galle, with its UNESCO World Heritage Site Fort and a variety of restaurants & cafes to choose from. One favorite organic restaurant is “Poonies Kitchen.”
