Talalla Beach, in Sri Lanka, is the perfect place to run our Level 1 trainings. The ocean is clean and the surroundings are quiet and tropical and very well suited for an intensive training environment.

Resort Restaurant & Food: Talalla Retreat is passionate about food thanks to the gourmet influence of successful Australian restaurant owner and Talalla founder, Laurie Rose. Sip on a king coconut and enjoy the gentle sea breeze as you savor gourmet Talalla flavors in the stunning open-air restaurant pavilion.

Vibrant tropical fruit, crisp seasonal fresh vegetables and fresh local seafood feature prominently as traditional Sri Lankan delicacies and international favorites. Much of the resorts herbs and spices are grown organically on the property, while other seasonal ingredients are sourced fresh daily from local markets and fishermen.

Venue: Talalla Beach Retreat is situated in south Sri Lanka in a quiet fishing village called Talalla. The venue is a boutique hotel style retreat with a large Yoga Shala, a 20 meter swimming pool, lush, but quaint bungalows set in and around the pool which is surrounded by coconut palms.

Pool: The resort’s fresh water swimming pool features at the center of Talalla’s lush gardens and is conveniently close to the restaurant. The pool is 20 meters long and 9 meters wide. Ideal for lap swimmers or lazy days just floating around between yoga classes.

Resort Spa: The resort spa offers a variety of massages, therapies and signature treatments designed to pamper the body and soothe the soul. Many treatments feature fresh, local ingredients for a truly exotic spa experience. The resort therapists are happy to discuss your requirements before transporting you to a state of utter bliss.

Communications: Wireless broadband is available in the restaurant area with good mobile telephone reception. There is also telephone and fax facilities available in the office.

Visa Information: There have been some recent changes in the process of applying for visas for entry into Sri Lanka. Yoga Arts advises all participants to contact the Sri Lanka Embassy, in the country of your origin, to arrange a Tourist Visa for your visit to Sri Lanka in plenty of time before you plan to travel.

Please make your own inquiries about obtaining a ‘tourist visa’ from your country of origin.
